In this module, we add hospitalization to our model. We formulate a structure to represent how hospital availability and staff burnout would impact the COVID 19 recovery and death rate. More specifically, we build a structure for (1) allocating hospital beds to COVID 19 patients based on patient needs and existing hospital capacity, (2) staff burnout from a prolonged strain on the healthcare system, and (3) impact of hospital availability on the health outcomes of COVID 19 patients.
