We occasionally update our model based on the events regarding the pandemic. Sometimes the model gets updated due to the need for a new analysis.

Ali’s Model

Ali’s Model is a System Dynamics Simulation of a feedback-rich model for analyzing the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic. You will need to download a free version of the simulation software VENSIMPLE to open and run this model.

In the Spread of Corona
slides you can find an investigation of 3 scenarios for the spread of COVID-19 in Iran. The model includes major feedback loops that represent the nature of the virus spread and the response of public and government to the spread of COVID-19.

Waves of Corona

In the Wave of Corona slides analyzes the potential reappearance of
COVID-19 after the initial outbreak is controlled. Based on the level of social distancing and infection protection, three different scenarios are tested and presented in these slides.

The policies to Control Corona
slides develop and discuss a policy in addition to social distancing and self-protection to control
the disease even more. The policy is testing and screening all who are not symptomatic patients and quarantine the infected asymptomatic persons until they recover.
